I wore a skirt or capri pants all weekend, because my legs hadn't seen the sun all week. Thank goodness we're going to the beach in 2 weeks!
Picking up where I left off...
I went home and generally chilled for a few days, then I came back to Clemson on Tuesday and cleaned and put away my laundry. That Tuesday night, I took Julie and Rachel to Olive Garden for dinner and gave them their graduation presents which, (correct me if i'm wrong...) they loved. On Wednesday, we went to Commerce to do some shopping. The general goal was to find them dresses for graduation. Of course, we found plenty of other things while we were there (hehe).
Thursday, I started work out at the AMRL. It was a very long day, as we had a 3.5 hour meeting and a cookout after work.
Friday, I worked until lunchtime, then went home and headed to graduation. Emily and I made signs and heckled because our seats were behind the stage where Julie and Rachel could see us.
After graduation, I got to ride with Julie's grandparents (which was quite amusing) out to the restaurant (el something) where all umpteen of us had dinner. Then we proceeded to take about a million pictures of ourselves.
Olivia and I had a slumber party on Friday night. Yay!
I headed home on Saturday cause Sunday was Mothers' Day. Amy and I prepared lunch for mom, including half a red velvet cake. (hehe. it's so easy to take credit) We then carried on our mothers' day tradition of going to the mercy center and serving dinner.
Monday was work, Tuesday was work, Wednesday was work, Thursday was work, Friday was work. But, Friday was pizza day at work. My car decided to start making crazy noises on Monday. Sounded a lot like brakes, but dad kept sending me under the car to check and see if it really was the brakes before he tried to get the car into the shop. It finally came down to Matt and I removing the tires from the car and looking at the brakes that way, because you couldn't see anything from under the car. We discovered, in scientific terms, that the round shiny thing wasn't shiny all the way to the edge on the left rear. It was, in fact, scraped all the way around, about 1/4 inch thick. Anyway, I'm driving Snowflake this week while the Vorvo gets his feet fixed.
This weekend was Amy's senior sunday at church, so we spent Saturday morning decorating for it, then Saturday afternoon at the mall with Regan, picking out a dress for the occasion. I also gave Amy her video this weekend. I'm pretty sure she liked it.
Today we'll be leaving work a bit early and heading to the lake to go swimming. Yay! Way fun. I don't know where yet. Doesn't really matter.
Lunchtime!
I'll add pictures later. The internet's being screwy.
